Tinatayang Php680,000 halaga ng ilegal na droga ang nasamsam sa isang High Value Individual (HVI) na suspek sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng mga operatiba ng Tagoloan Municipal Police Station sa Zone 1, Nabulod, Baluarte, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental nito lamang Hulyo 18, 2024.
Kinilala ni Police Captain Rexson L Layug, Officer-In-Charge ng Tagoloan Municipal Police Station, ang High Value Individual na drug suspek na si alyas “Timo”, 43 anyos na residente ng nasabing lugar.
Nakumpiska ang nasa 100 na gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na may street value na Php680,000.
Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Pinuri naman ni Police Brigadier General Ricardo G Layug Jr., Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 10, ang mga tauhan ng Tagoloan MPS para sa matagumpay na operasyon, “I commend the operating units for the successful operation and for the dedication to bringing the drug suspect behind bars. I would like to reiterate that PRO 10 remains steadfast in the fight against illegal drugs, and I encourage everyone to rally behind us to attain a drug-free environment for our families, friends, and future generations.”
