Arestado ng pulisya ang kinikilalang Top 5 Most Wanted Person sa Regional level na may kasong Rape at paglabag sa RA 9995, sa Zone 2, Barangay Bulad, Isabela, Negros Occidental nitong Miyerkules, ika-1 ng Pebrero 2024.
Ang matagumpay na operasyon ay pinangunahan ng Isabela Municipal Police Station kasama ang Provincial Intelligence Unit (NOCPPO) , RIU6, 3rd Mobile Platoon, 2nd NOCPMFC, 300 AISW, PAF, 61ST SAC, 6SAB, 604TH Company at 601st Company ng Regional Force Mobile Battalion.
Kinilala ni Police Captain Ar-Jay P Dangarang, Officer-in-charge ng Isabela MPS, ang nahuli na si alyas “John”, itinuturing na Top 5 Regional Most Wanted Person, Provincial Top 9 Most Wanted Person at Municipal Top 7 Most Wanted Person.
Naaresto ang akusado sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa kasong paglabag sa RA 8353 o Rape at kasong paglabag sa Sec. 4 (A) at Sec. 4 (D) ng RA 9995 o ang Anti-Photo and Voyeurism Act of 2009.
Ito naman ang naging pahayag ni Police Brigader General Sidney N Villaflor, Regional Director ng PRO 6, kaugnay sa pagkakahuli ng nasabing wanted person. “We commend the swift and efficient actions of the Isabela Municipal Police Station and its supporting units in apprehending the suspect. This collaborative effort demonstrates our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community members.
