Arestado ang apat na indibidwal kabilang ang Top 3 Provincial Target sa isinagawang operasyon ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 10 at Lanao del Norte PNP sa Barangay Poblacion, Linamon, Lanao del Norte nito lamang ika-28 ng Enero 2024.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Sandy Vales, Provincial Director ng Lanao del Norte Police Provincial Office, ang mga suspek na sina alyas “Edu”, tinaguriang Top 3 Provincial Target, alyas “Inday”; alyas “Eric” at si alyas “Alchie”.
Dakong 8:30 ng gabi nadakip ang mga suspek ng mga operatiba ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 10 kasama ang Linamon Municipal Police Station – Station Drug Enforcement Unit; Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit – Lanao del Norte PNP at 43rd Mechanized Company sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 na walang rekomendadong piyansa.
Sa operasyon ay nakumpiska ang nasa Php102,000 halaga ng hinahinalang shabu na may bigat na 15 na gramo.
Pinuri naman ni PCol Vales, “I commend the operating personnel involved to this successful operation for a job well done, the successful outcome of this operation is a testament to our commitment to the fight against illegal drugs in our community, let us continue our relentless campaign against illegal drugs and ensure to our community that we will not stop in apprehending violators until the entire province will be declared a drug free province.”
