Cruz Municipal Police Station (MPS) na pinamumunuan ni Police Lieutenant Colonel Paterno Domondon na kung saan ay naaresto ang Top 9 Most Wanted Person na si Joel Clarito, 39 taong gulang, may asawa, construction worker, sa kanyang tirahan na matatagpuan sa Brgy. Patimao, Sta. Cruz, Laguna bandang 7:00 ng gabi noong Enero 15, 2022.

Ang operasyon ay isinagawa by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for consented abduction na may kaugnayan sa Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act (R.A. 7610) na inilabas noong Nobyembre 17, 2009, ni Hon. Jaime Blancaflor, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, Branch 26, Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

Ang isa pang Warrant of Arrest kay Joel Clarito ay ang paglabag ng Sec. 5 (e) (2) ng R.A. 9262 (Depriving or threatening to deprive the woman or her children of financial support legally due to her or her family, or deliberately providing the woman’s children insufficient financial support) na inisyu noong Mayo 30, 2019 ni Hon. Suwerte Ofrecio, Presiding Judge of Family Court, Branch 6, Sta. Cruz, Laguna, na may piyansa na inirerekomenda na Php36,000 at para sa Qualified Theft na inilabas noong Marso 29, 2010, ni Hon. Divinagracia Bustos-Ongkeko, Judge ng Regional Trial Court, Branch 91, Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

Sa isang hiwalay na manhunt operation, ang mga operatiba ng Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Pila Municipal Police Station ay naaresto si Jeffrey Estrada a.k.a. Si Wowo, 45 taong gulang, may asawa, walang trabaho, sa kanyang tirahan na matatagpuan sa Brgy. Labuin, Sta. Cruz, Laguna by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest para sa Robbery na inilabas noong Disyembre 18, 2020, ni Hon. Caesar C. Buenagua, Presiding Judge ng Regional Trial Court, Branch 37, Calamba City, Laguna, na may piyansa na inirerekomendang Php24,000.

Ang mga naaresto ay nasa temporary custody ng Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station.
