Oriental Mindoro – Pormal na itinalaga si Police Brigadier General Joel Bargamento Doria bilang ika-18 na Regional Director ng PRO MIMAROPA sa ginanap na Turnover of Office Ceremony sa Camp BGen Efigenio Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro noong ika-21 ng Marso 2023.
Pinalitan ni PBGen Doria si PBGen Sidney Hernia, na ngayon ay Director ng PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group.
Ang nasabing seremonya ay pinangasiwaan ni Police Lieutenant General Rhoderick Armamento, Commander ng Area Police Command-Southern Luzon.
Ang bagong Director ay miyembro ng PNPA “TAGAPAGPATUPAD” Class of 1992. Bago ang kanyang appointment bilang Director ng PRO MIMAROPA, si PBGen Doria ay nagsilbi bilang Director ng PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG), PNPA Commandant of Cadets, at Executive Director ng PNP Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (DHRDD).
Sa kanyang mensahe, committed to continue his low-key but stern kind of leadership with emphasis on strict discipline, reform and internal cleansing, intensified campaign against criminality, insurgency and illegal drugs as well as practical programs towards strengthening public engagement through the peace and security framework, MKK=K.
“Internal Discipline must be strictly implemented. We will show respect both to ourselves and to the public because I firmly believe that genuine public service is anchored on respect. We will serve with all honesty, honor and integrity. We must involve and empower the local government units, the Barangay Anti-Drug Councils, local institutions, the church, Civil Society Organizations, and even individuals to join us in this fight”, saad pa ni PBGen Doria.
“Sa mga kalalakihan at kababaihan ng Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, maging matuwid tayong lahat at italaga ang ating sarili sa pangangalaga sa karapatan ng bawat tao na maibalik ang tiwala ng publiko sa PNP na kilalanin bilang tagapagtanggol at tagapagtanggol ng kapayapaan, kaayusan, at karapatang pantao”, dagdag pa ni PBGen Doria.
