Butuan City – Tinatayang nasa Php408,000 halaga ng shabu ang nakumpiska at naaresto ang isang High Value Individual (HVI) sa isinagawang buy-bust operation sa Brgy. Libertad, Butuan City nito lamang Huwebes, Marso 9, 2023.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Marco Archinue, City Director ng Butuan City Police Office, ang naaresto na si alyas “June”, electrician at residente ng Brgy. Bancasi, Butuan City.
Ayon kay PCol Archinue, bandang 7:30 ng gabi nang ikasa ang operasyon na pinangunahan ng PDEA-Agusan del Norte katuwang ang Butuan City Police Station-3.
Nakumpiska ang 11 piraso ng heat-sealed transparent sachets na tumimbang ng 60-gramo at may Standard Drug Price na Php408,000; Php74,000 cash na ginamit bilang buy-bust money; isang yunit ng Yamaha Sniper na motorsiklo; at isang yunit ng Realme C25 cellphone.
Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5 at 11, Art. II ng RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“Today’s successful operation, following up on last week’s several arrests of individuals on drug charges is another example of the PNP-PDEA’s commitment to protecting our city from the illegal drug threat. Let us continue to work with all our partner agencies as well as our community to aggressively target those who peddle illegal drugs in Butuan,” pahayag ni PCol Archinue.
