Butuan City – Naaresto ang tatlong suspek sa Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition sa P-5 Brgy. Taod-oy, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte nito lamang Miyerkules, Enero 18, 2023.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Filemon Pacios, Provincial Director ng Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office, ang mga nadakip na sina alyas “Persival”, 43, residente ng P-7 Brgy. Mahogany, Butuan City; alyas “Nomer”, 36, residente ng Brgy. Pequeño, Butuan City; at alyas “Roberto”, 29, residente ng P-2 Brgy. Buhang, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte.
Ayon kay PCol Pacios, bandang 12:40 ng hating gabi nang makatanggap ng tawag ang Magallanes Municipal Police Station sa isang biktima kung saan tinakot at pinaputukan ng mga suspek ng biktima gamit ang hindi matukoy na baril.
Agad naman itong inaksyonan ng Magallanes PNP na nauwi sa pagkakaaresto ng tatlong suspek at pagkakumpiska ng isang shotgun; apat na pirasong 12-gauge live ammunition; isang .45 caliber pistol 1911 Norinco; isang .45 caliber pistol Colt’s Government Model; tatlong magazine ng .45 caliber at 24 na live ammunition.
Nahaharap ang tatlong suspek sa kasong paglabag sa RA10591 o Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition.
“The ADNPPO relentlessly intensified the operations against loose firearms to prevent its utilization in illegal activities. If any similar case arises, the public is encouraged to report and coordinate to the nearest police stations,” pahayag ni PCol Pacios.
