Butuan City – Naaresto ang isang High Value Individual sa isinagawang buy-bust operation ng Butuan PNP kung saan nakumpiska ang droga at baril nito lamang Sabado, Enero 7, 2023.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Marco Archinue, City Director ng Butuan City Police Office, ang nadakip na si alyas “Bemboy,” 48, residente ng Purok Makiangayon, Brgy. Agusan Pequeño, Butuan City.
Ayon kay PCol Archinue, bandang 10:20 ng gabi nang isagawa ang operasyon sa Purok Panaghiusa, Brgy. Agusan Pequeño ng Drug Enforcement Unit ng Butuan City Police Station – 2.
Nakumpiska sa suspek ang isang piraso ng heat-sealed transparent sachet na naglalaman ng 1 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na may Standard Drug Price na Php6,800, isang pirasong Php1,000 bill bilang marked money, isang yunit ng caliber .40 Taurus Pistol, isang magazine na may limang live ammunition ng caliber .40, isang caliber .40 plastic holster, at isang motorsiklo na kulay black at gray Honda XRM.
Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5, Article II ng RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at RA10591 o Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
