Kampo Crame — Panibagong mga kagamitan ang muling iprenisenta ng Pambansang Pulisya ng Pilipinas para sa pagpapaigting ng operasyon nito laban sa kriminalidad sa harap ng National Headquarters sa Kampo Crame nito lamang Huwebes, Nobyembre 24, 2022.
Kabilang sa mga kagamitan na ito na ipapamahagi sa iba’t ibang rehiyon at yunit ng PNP ay ang 130 units Personnel Carrier (4×4), 41 units Advance Life Support Ambulance, 1,464 all purpose vest (Tactical Vest Level III-A with 2 Upgrade Plates Level IV), 212 units 5.56MM Light Machine Gun “NEGEV”, at 8,001 units ng 9mm Striker Fired Pistol “AREX DELTA.”
Sa pangunguna ng Bids and Awards Committee, matagumpay na naipresinta ang mga nasabing mga kagamitan na may kabuuang halaga na Php761,219,682 na galing sa PNP’s Capability Enhancement Program 2019, 2021 at 2022.
Binasbasan rin ang mga ito na syang tradisyonal nang ginagawa bago ipamahagi.
Pinasalamatan naman ni Police General Rodolfo Azurin Jr., Hepe ng Pambansang Pulisya ng Pilipinas, ang Technical Working Group at miyembro ng Bids and Awards Committee sa matagumpay na pagkakakuha ng mga bagong kagamitan.
Ayon pa sa mensaheng ipinarating ni General Azurin Jr., “MALASAKIT” is the best word that can describe today’s event, malasakit for our police officers and for the equipment that they can fully address the KAAYUSAN and KAPAYAPAAN tungo sa KAUNLARAN of our country. Let us continue your law enforcement and public safety duty to make our communities safer by deploying more uniformed personnel with appropriate equipment to conduct police operations.”
