Butuan City – Tinatayang nasa Php727,000 halaga ng shabu ang nakumpiska sa isinagawang buy-bust operation ng Butuan City PNP na humantong sa pagkakaaresto ng suspek na isang Regional Top Priority Target- High Value Individual nito lamang Biyernes, Hunyo 3, 2022.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Excelso Llazaga Jr, City Director ng Butuan City Police Office ang nadakip na si Joseph Perez alyas “Bingle”, 36, residente ng Purok 3, Brgy. Datu Silongan, Butuan City.
Ayon kay PCol Llazaga, bandang 3:00 ng hapon nang maaresto si Bingle sa Purok 1, Brgy. Raja Soliman, Butuan City ng mga operatiba ng Drug Enforcement Team ng Butuan City Police Station 1.
Nakumpiska kay Bingle ang nasa 107 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng Php727,600, buy-bust money at drug paraphernalia.
Mahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“Perez will now be facing charges for the violation of RA 9165. Again, this is a stern warning to all illegal drugs users that the Butuan cops will look after you for have no place here in Butuan City. I commend the efforts of the operating unit to include the participation of the witnesses for a job well done”, pahayag ni PCol Llazaga.
