Lanao Del Sur (February 9, 2022) – Arestado ang limang (5) suspek sa isinagawang anti-illegal drug operation ng kapulisan sa Purok 2, Brgy. Papandayan Caniogan, Marawi City, Lanao Del Sur noong Pebrero 9, 2022.

Naging matagumpay ang operasyon dahil sa pinagsanib pwersa ng Provincial Special Operations Group/Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit at 1^st Provincial Mobile Force Company ng Lanao Del Sur PPO, kasama ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, at 500 Combat Engineer Battalion.

Nakumpiska mula sa mga naarestong suspek na pawang residente ng Purok 2, Barangay Papandayan Caniogan, Marawi City ang 15 gramo ng shabu na nagkakahalaga ng Php102,000.

Kasalukuyang nakakulong ngayon ang mga naarestong suspek sa custodial facility ng Marawi City Police Station, at nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Pinapurihan ni Police Brigadier Genenal Arthur Cabalona, RD, PRO BAR, ang mga operatiba sa matagumpay na pagkakadakip sa mga suspek.

“I commend the resilient collaboration of the law enforcers in the ground that resulted to the successful operation against illegal drugs” ani PBGen Cabalona.

“Together with the community and other stakeholders, we will relentlessly pursue those who are engaged in this illegal drug trade including those who are benefitting from it,” dagdag pa niya.
