Camp Crame, Quezon City (January 31, 2022) – Dumalo si Senator Bato Dela Rosa bilang panauhing pandangal sa pagdiriwang ng ika 31^st Foundation Anniversary ng Philippine National Police na ginanap sa mismong National Headquarters ng PNP sa Camp Bgen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City nitong Enero 31, 2022.

Pinuri niya ang organisasyon sa walang tigil nitong pagtataguyod sa pagpapatupad ng batas sa kahit anumang hamon. Aniya, “Throughout the years, we have seen how the PNP marches on to greater heights of honor and glory through its remarkable accomplishments and continuing internal reformation, and even exultantly hurdle vast challenges and difficulties especially during this pandemic.”

Nag-iwan din siya ng makabuluhang hamon para sa lahat na huwag kalimutan ang mga nagawa ng mga naunang miyembro ng kapulisan para sa kapakanan ng ating pinakamamahal na bayan, aniya, “On this historically significant day, we join the Filipino nation in a fitting tribute to the nameless and countless officers, men and women of the PNP whose blood, sweat and tears nurtured the foundations of what the PNP has achieved today. Let us also not forget the valiant sacrifices of our fallen brothers who died on the battlefield while protecting this country against lawlessness, and the 126 frontliners whose lives were taken by this contagious and deadly COVID-19 virus. Let their memory of heroism and sacrifices serve as inspiration for us to pursue our mission of protecting people’s life and liberty.”

Samantala, pinuri naman ni PNP Chief, Police General Dionardo Carlos ang mahigit 225,000 na mga active members ng PNP sa pagiging totoo ng mga ito sa pagtalima ng kanilang sinumpaang tungkulin sa pinakamataas na pamantayan ng propesyonalismo, pananagutan, integridad at pagpapatupad ng batas at serbisyo publiko.

“On our 31^st year of shining service as the country’s national police force, we introduced a new level of professionalism and competency. We continuously delivered effective police operations and investigation amidst the pandemic. This outlook is made more tangible as we increased police presence by maximizing the deployment of personnel for preventive patrol and PCR operations in communities where their services are much needed. Through such actions, we have strengthened our campaign against illegal drugs, crime, terrorism, and corruption while also fighting the unseen enemy in this health crisis”, dagdag pa ni PGen Carlos.

Nagpasalamat naman si PNP Deputy Chief for Administration Police Lt. Gen. Joselito Vera Cruz sa patuloy na tiwala at suporta ng ating mga kababayan sa PNP. Aniya, “Asahan po ng ating mga minamahal na kapwa Pilipino na narito ang Pambansang Pulisya ng Pilipinas na katuwang ninyo hindi lamang bilang mga tagapagbantay at tagapagpanatili ng kaayusan sa komunidad kundi bilang isang organisasyon na tumutulong sa ating mga maralitang kababayan sa lahat ng panahon at oras.”

Nagsagawa rin ng Wreath Laying Ceremony sa Bantayog ng mga Bayaning Tagapamayapa para naman sa pagkilala sa kabayanihan ng mga fallen heroes ng PNP.
