Agusan del Norte – Naaresto ang tatlong Most Wanted Persons (Municipal Level) sa isinagawang Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation ng kapulisan ng Agusan del Norte nito lamang Miyerkules, Marso 16, 2022.
Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Romeo Caramat Jr., Regional Director, Police Regional Office 13, ang mga tatlong nadakip na sina Warren B Laurente, 23, single, estudyante, Top 1 Most Wanted Person Municipal Level ng Cabadbaran City; Medardo T Bergado, 64, walang trabaho, Top 2 Most Wanted Person Municipal Level ng Cabadbaran City; at Antonio T Liga, magsasaka, Top 1 Most Wanted Person Municipal Level ng Jabonga, Agusan del Norte.
Ayon kay PBGen Caramat, ang tatlong suspek ay naaresto sa pinagsanib na pwersa ng Regional Anti-Cyber Crime Unit-13, Cabadbaran City Police Station at Santiago Municipal Police Station.
Ayon pa kay PBGen Caramat, si Laurente ay naaresto sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa ilalim ng criminal case number CR-2022-28, CR-2022-29, CR-2022-40 sa paglabag sa Section 5-B ng RA 7610 o ang Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act na may nirekomendang piyansa na nagkakahalaga ng Php180,000.
Habang si Bergado ay naaresto sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa ilalim ng criminal case number CR-2022-40 at CR-2022-41 para sa Acts of Lasciviousness Revised Penal Code Article 336 in relation to Republic Act 7610 na may nirekomendang piyansa na nagkakahalaga ng Php180,000.
At si Liga naman ay naaresto sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa ilalim ng criminal case number CC 2022-08 para sa krimen ng Lasciviousness Conduct Under Section 5 (B) of RA 7610 na may nirekomendang piyansa na Php200,000.
“PNP Caraga operatives will never stop chasing individuals sought by law. We continue to carry out our sworn obligation to protect the children and women from offenders who sexually abused them”, ani PBGen Caramat.
