Pinangasiwaan ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Police General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar ang donning, pinning, at oath taking ng 235 Newly Appointed Police Commissioned Officers (NAPCOs) sa ilalim ng PNP Lateral Entry Program CY 2021 noong Setyembre 16, 2021 sa PNP Transformation Oval, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.
Kabilang sa 235 NAPCOs ang walong (8) Police Captains at 227 Police Lieutenants.
Limang (5) doktor, dalawang (2) abugado, at isang (1) pastor ang in-appoint sa ranggong Police Captain na may basic monthly salary na Php56,582; habang ang iba pa ay mga dentista, medical at radiological technologists, nurses, nutritionist, pharmacists, physical therapists, psychologists, engineers, architects, IT officers, social workers at forensic criminologists na numpa bilang Police Lieutenant at may basic monthly salary na Php49,528 bukod pa dito ang allowances at iba pang benepisyo.
Hindi naman pinalad na makasama sa naturang seremonya ang anim (6) pang mga bagong opisyal ng PNP matapos magpositibo sa COVID-19.
Sasailalim sa anim (6) na buwang Public Safety Basic Officers’ Course ang mga NAPCOs.
Dumalo din bilang Guest of Honor and Speaker si Commissioner Vitaliano N. Aguirre II, ang Vice Chairman at Executive Officer ng National Police Commission.

Samantala, kasabay ng seremonya ang pag-turnover ng mga donasyon na Recruitment Processing Equipment sa PNP na mula naman sa Skylet’s Marketing na kinatawanan ng may-ari na si Mrs. Scarlet Go Jocson.
Nangako naman si PNP Chief Eleazar na gagamitin ang Recruitment Processing Equipment upang masala ng mabuti at mas mapalawak pa ang recruitment at selection system ng PNP.
