Arestado ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) ang 22 wanted person na may kinakaharap na kasong panggagahasa sa isinagawang nationwide operation mula Mayo 1 hanggang Mayo 4, 2025.

Ayon kay CIDG Director Major General Nicolas Torre III, isinagawa ang mga operasyon sa Bulacan, Bataan, Batangas, Rizal, Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Antique, Iloilo, Misamis Occidental, Bukidnon, Davao del Norte, South Cotabato, at North Cotabato.

Kabilang sa mga kinakaharap na kaso ng mga naaresto ang Rape, Rape by Sexual Assault, Statutory Rape, Statutory Rape by Sexual Intercourse, at paglabag sa The Stronger Protection Against Rape and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Act of 2022.

“With these arrests, we significantly prevented future rape incidents to happen and helped 22 victims and families attain the justice they deserved,” ani PMGen Torre.
