Timbog ng Butuan City Police Station – Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ang dalawang High Value Individual sa isinagawang buy-bust operation sa Purok 2, Barangay Fort Poyohon, Butuan City dakong 5:42 ng umaga nito lamang Hulyo 27, 2024.
Kinilala ang mga naaresto na sina alyas “Virgel”, High Value Individual na may dating kaso ng Republic Act 9165 noong 2016, 44 taong gulang, lalaki, may asawa, nakatira sa P-4, Barangay Fort Poyohon, Butuan City at si alyas “Mar”, 29 anyos, babae, fruit vendor at residente ng District 1, Cabatuan, Barangay Poblacion, Carmen, Agusan Del Norte.
Matagumpay na naisakatuparan ang operasyon dahil sa isang poseur-buyer mula sa Butuan PNP na nakakuha ng isang heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet ng hinihinalang shabu, isang pirasong Multi-purpose case na may kulay na pula/itim, dalawang pakete ng hinihinalang shabu, isang unit ng Digital Weighing Scale, isang pirasong marked money na nagkakahalaga ng Php1,000 bill, at isang unit ng black Yamaha Sniper 155 na walang plaka.
Nakumpiska ang kabuuang walong gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na may Standard Drig Price na Php54,000.
