Iloilo City – Nagsagawa ang Police Regional Office 6 sa pangunguna ni PBGen Sidney N Villaflor, Regional Director, ng turn-over ng 19 na bagong Desktop Computers o mga ICT equipment para sa mga Police Stations at Offices sa rehiyon na ginanap sa PRO 6 Multipurpose Hall, Camp Gen Martin Teofilo Delgado, Iloilo City, nitong araw ng Lunes, Oktubre 2, 2023.
Ang inisyatibong ito ay naglalayong mapabuti at mapalakas ang kakayahan ng mga kapulisan sa Information and Communication Technology at mapaigting ang pagsugpo ng krimen na may kaugnayan sa Cybercrime, at mas mapaganda pa ang pagbibigay serbisyo sa mamamayan ng Western Visayas.
Ito rin ay isa sa mga paraan ni PBGen Villaflor na masiguro ang lahat ng opisina ng Police Regional Office 6 at mga Police Stations ay may mga epektibong kagamitan na magagamit sa trabaho upang sila’y makapagbigay ng mahusay na dekalidad na serbisyo at paglilingkod sa komunidad.
Aniya, “This is my another way of helping my beloved Police Regional Office 6 achieve more with the help of the newly bought 19 sets of computers. I truly hope that with these new sets of computers, our recipient police stations and offices will be more inspired to serve the community.”
