100 Caraga Cops, sumailalim sa STI, HIV/AIDS Testing at Counselling

Sumailalim ang 100 na tauhan ng Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 sa isinagawang counseling at testing para sa Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) at Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/ Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) advocacy na ginanap sa Multi-Purpose Center ng Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City nito lamang Martes, Nobyembre 12, 2024.

Pinangunahan ni Mr. Anthony T. Torralba, Regional Program Officer ng Protects Upscale/Sustained Health Initiatives ng DOH at isang sanay na HIV Counselor na nagsilbing tagapagsalita sa aktibidad, na may temang “Know Your Status and Protect Your Future Act with Care”.

Tinalakay ang mga mahalagang kaalaman tungkol sa pag-iwas, maagang pagtuklas, at mga responsableng Health practices na dapat gawin kaugnay sa STI, HIV/AIDS.

Kabilang sa mga dumalo sina Ms. Maria Anna S. Valdehueza, TB-HIV Program Coordinator ng Butuan City Health Department, mga nars mula sa Regional Medical and Dental Unit 13, mga kawani ng Regional Community Affairs and Development Division, at iba pang tauhan ng kampo.

“To my fellow law enforcers, we have the utmost responsibility to educate and become part of the prevention drive especially for the younger generations, in the dangers of an un-safe and irresponsible sexual engagement that will affect not only the concerned parties but also their families,” ani Police Brigadier General Alan M Nazarro, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 13.
